The
J. Pechauer Custom Cues Southeast Open 9 Ball Tour:Hello
pool fans from all over. Here is the article on our
third installment of The J. Pechauer Southeast Open
9 Ball Tour held at Uncle Waldo's Billiards and Pub
located in beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida. We had
44 Players and it was a one day event. The matches were
played on mostly 8 foot tables with a smattering of
matches on the 9 footers. We also want to acknowledge
XPC for doing the live streaming for this event. Gary
Gilsinan and Gary Patrick do an awesome job. We also
want to thank Kyle for all of his labors because he
is the backbone to this operation. We also want to thank
AJ Condercuri, Tony Condercuri, and (Mom) Patti Condercuri
for hosting yet another very successful event at Uncle
Waldo's.
The players were very excited about this event and all
participants played very well. We had some awesome matches
and some very close hill-hill matches. One notable match
was Gary Gilsinan playing TK which went hill-hill with
TK being in dead jump on the last rack. TK feels that
Gary should have definitely won this one. TK made an
early statement before the match that he remembers when
Gary had defeated him in Savannah Ga. many years ago
hill-hill and this could have been a repeat of that
historical moment.
Other notables was Mike DeLawder defeating Anthony Meglino
and eliminating him and also David Grossman eliminating
Mike DeLawder from the event. Justin (Smokey) Jacobs
Played awesome winning the Hotseat match against TK
7-5 and Brad Shearer played very well taking third place.
The final match was one race to 9 games and it came
down to TK and Smokey Jacobs. TK was in perfect form
and in Dead Jump and he cruised to a very quick win
and his third consecutive win in the last month.
TK would like to thank once again his Title Sponsor
J. Pechauer Custom Cues for their continued support
and also Iwan Simonis Cloth. Also Chris and Israel Hightower
with Cue Man Billiard Products and also Mueller Recreational
Products. TK would also like to thank John Speidel (The
Spider Man) for helping run this event very smoothly
and Jimmi Phillips for finishing it out. Also and most
of all the Lord Jesus Christ Who causes all things to
work together for good for His beloved Children. Thank
you again to Uncle Waldo's for supporting this great
sport and for showing the players that you really care.
Our next event is at the Miscue Lounge in Ft. Myers
Florida for the Bob and Brad Martin Memorial event August
19-20th. See you all there. TK
